Wombat Festivities

Wombat Festivities

This wombat is enjoying adding its personal touch and flair to the Christmas decorations.

Wombats are marsupials native to Tasmania and the mainland of Australia. They are herbivores. Female wombats give birth to a single young in the spring. The young leave the pouch after about 6 to 7 months.

I've often encountered wombats. They are such gentle souls and I try to capture that gentleness and calmness in my paintings. There's nothing cuter than seeing a baby wombat running.

This print is printed in Tasmania by Full Gamut on 310gsm William Turner water colour print paper with archival inks. The paper has the same texture as the paper I paint on. No wonder so many people ask me if the print is my original painting!

A-4 and A-3 sizes of "Wombat Festivities" are a Limited Edition print run of 100, numbered, titled and signed by me, the artist.

The A-2 size of "Wombat Festivities" is a Limited Edition print run of 30, numbered, titled and signed by me, the artist.
